- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ¼ cup water
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish optional
Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. Toss with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
