Buffalo Chicken-Stuffed Rolls
These Buffalo Chicken-Stuffed Rolls are a fun twist on classic buffalo chicken dip! - For the Buffalo Chicken Filling:
- 2 to 3 cups shredded chicken
- ¾ cup buffalo sauce
- ¼ cup ranch
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened
- ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 teaspoons garlic finely minced
- 1 tablespoon cilantro finely chopped
- 1 whole green bell pepper diced
- ¼ cup sliced green onions or diced red onions optional
- Extra cheddar and mozzarella for topping
- For the Garlic & Herb Butter:
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic finely minced
- 3 tablespoons parmesan grated
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- For Assembly:
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, parsley, garlic, parmesan, salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and set aside.
Prepare the Buffalo Chicken Filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch, cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, garlic, cilantro, and green bell pepper. If using, add green onions or red onions. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Rolls: Cut a square out of the center of each dinner roll to create space for the filling. Fill each roll with about 2 tablespoons of the buffalo chicken mixture.
Add Garlic Butter: Brush the garlic butter mixture over the stuffed rolls.
Top with Cheese: Combine the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and sprinkle a little on top of each roll.
Bake: Place the rolls in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are crispy and golden.
Serve Warm: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy warm!
