- 1 tsp pepper plus more to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Creamy Gravy:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp garlic minced or paste
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp dried tarragon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Cheddar Bay Biscuit Topping:
- 1 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix 11.36 oz
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup mild cheddar cheese shredded
- Herb Butter Sauce:
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 pouch garlic herb seasoning from biscuit mix box
Prepare the Seafood & Vegetables:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear shrimp and langostino with salt and pepper for 2–3 minutes. Set aside. In the same pan, sauté onions, bell pepper, and celery until soft and translucent (4–5 minutes).
Make the Creamy Gravy:
Lower heat to medium-low. Add butter and stir until melted. Sprinkle in flour, stirring constantly until flour is absorbed. Deglaze with chicken broth and bring to a light simmer. Stir in heavy cream. Add garlic, thyme, tarragon, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes, then gently fold in seafood. Remove from heat.
Mix the Biscuit Topping:
In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, cheddar cheese, and milk. Stir with a fork until a shaggy dough forms—do not overmix.
Prepare the Herb Butter:
Mix melted butter with the garlic herb seasoning pouch in a small bowl.
Assemble and Bake:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Transfer seafood filling to a baking dish or divide into 6 ramekins. Top with biscuit dough. Place on a baking tray and bake for 14–16 minutes or until golden.
Finish & Serve:
Remove from oven and brush with herb garlic butter. Serve warm and enjoy!
