Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 large slices deli ham cut in half
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix softened butter with Dijon mustard.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and spread the butter-mustard mixture on the cut sides.
  • Place a half slice of deli ham on each bottom half of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle shredded Gruyère cheese evenly over the ham.
  • Top with the other half of the rolls.
  • Place sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add a touch of béchamel sauce inside for a more traditional Croque Monsieur flavor.
  • Great for brunch trays or party snacks—easily doubled or tripled.
  • Substitute Swiss or mozzarella if Gruyère isn’t available.
