Ingredients
  

  • For French Fries:
  • 28-32 oz frozen French fries
  • 1 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoons ranch dressing plus more for dipping
  • For Cheese Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • cup milk
  • 2 cups medium cheddar cheese freshly shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven and cook frozen fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss fries with ranch dressing and seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
  • For cheese sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook 1-2 minutes to form a roux. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Place seasoned fries on a serving platter, drizzle with warm cheese sauce, and serve immediately with extra ranch for dipping.
