Ingredients
  

  • For the Smash Burger:
  • 3.5 oz ground beef
  • 2 slices cheese melt
  • 1 burger bun
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • For the Homemade Sauce:
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika powder
  • For the Side:
  • 3 oz fries
  • Additional salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, and paprika powder. Set aside.
  • Season the Beef: Mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and black pepper. Divide into two portions.
  • Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place each portion in the pan and smash into thin patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Add cheese in the last minute.
  • Toast the Bun: Slice the burger bun and spread butter on the cut sides. Toast in a pan until golden.
  • Assemble the Burger: Spread sauce on the bottom bun. Add one patty with melted cheese, stack the second patty, and add more sauce. Cover with the top bun.
  • Prepare the Fries: Cook according to package instructions, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Serve: Plate the burger with fries and enjoy!
