Ingredients

  • 1 can 10 ounces green enchilada sauce
  • ¾ cup salsa verde
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 flour tortillas 10 inches, warmed
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the enchilada sauce and salsa verde. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease. Stir in 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture.
  • Spoon about 2/3 cup of the beef mixture down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle each with 3 tablespoons of cheddar cheese.
  • Fold the bottom and sides of each tortilla over the filling and roll up tightly.
  • Place burritos seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour the remaining sauce mixture over the top and sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 cup cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot with your favorite toppings like sour cream, chopped cilantro, or diced tomatoes
