Prep Time 20 minutes mins
Cook Time 11 minutes mins
- 1 can 10 ounces green enchilada sauce
- ¾ cup salsa verde
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 flour tortillas 10 inches, warmed
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the enchilada sauce and salsa verde. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease. Stir in 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture.
Spoon about 2/3 cup of the beef mixture down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle each with 3 tablespoons of cheddar cheese.
Fold the bottom and sides of each tortilla over the filling and roll up tightly.
Place burritos seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour the remaining sauce mixture over the top and sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 cup cheese.
Bake, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings like sour cream, chopped cilantro, or diced tomatoes
