Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small green pepper chopped
  • cup chopped onion
  • 3-1/4 cups uncooked medium egg noodles about 6 ounces
  • 1 can 14-1/2 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • ¼ cup chili sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 4 bacon strips cooked and crumbled

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, green pepper, and onion until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Crumble the beef and drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the egg noodles, diced tomatoes (with juices), water, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
  • Top with crumbled bacon before serving. Enjoy hot!
