- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small green pepper chopped
- ⅓ cup chopped onion
- 3-1/4 cups uncooked medium egg noodles about 6 ounces
- 1 can 14-1/2 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1-1/2 cups water
- ¼ cup chili sauce
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- 4 bacon strips cooked and crumbled
