- 4 medium full-size tomatoes
- 14 oz canned albacore tuna in water drained
- 4 semi-thick slices spiced Havarti cheese
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Dash of celery salt
- Olive oil for drizzling
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Gently wash and core the tomatoes. Cut a circle around the top of each tomato, then use a spoon to scoop out the insides, creating a hollow bowl.
In a mixing bowl, stir together the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, green onion, salt, pepper, and celery salt.
Scoop the tuna mixture into the hollowed-out tomatoes. Transfer the stuffed tomatoes to an oven-safe dish.
Drizzle the tomatoes lightly with olive oil and top each with a slice of Havarti cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Let the stuffed tomatoes rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
